...so your saying the rest of SWR's amps are great?

Otherwise, since when are the rest of the Professional Series bad amps? They aren't necessarily 'great', nor everyone's cup of tea, but they are certainly good overall. Or do you want bang for buck? Well, that's what GK is for.
Otherwise, my 350 head has served me well for the past several years. I've played many amps, and while SWR isn't orgasmic, nor the best bang for the buck, it's a very nice, professional behaving amplifier, with clarity and character that cuts thru the mix. Maybe that's not what you look for in an amp, but that doesn't make an amp bad.

Perhaps I worded that a bit harshly. Lets just say SWR isn't to my taste, but may work fine for someone else.

I didn't know SWR ever made a good amp.

Edit..I see its the head version of the baby blue. Truly the only good sounding amp SWR ever did make.

Please don't forget to use the phrases IMHO or to me as the impressionable will undoubtedly miss that and take your word for gospel. You know by now, and this is my opinion, that no piece of gear is correct for everyone. There is a lot of great gear out there. Everyone's touch is different so different rigs respond differently for each of us. The post really wasn't a critique of SWR. :)

I was posting how there are already amps named
what Ashdown has named a couple of their amps.
No, I don't like Ashdown, I don't like TE either;
who cares?!
I'm not one to be shocked or awed, but yes that
pic is offensive.
I'm not suprised in the least that you posted that
pic in the manner that you did.

LOL, I wasn't real concerned about offending you.

Perhaps you could tell us WHY you don't like Ashdown and TE. Then you'd be doing something other than flaming.

Cool, I didn't think so!
I still appreciate that you deleted the pic.

The main reason is that I didn't like the tone.
I have to say though that I would like to check
out a all valve:) V head.

The all tube TE sound AWESOME to my ears. The SS TE are pretty versatile, but not near as nice sounding as the tube models.

As far as most of the TE stuff, I'm not too thrilled
with graphic eq only; whether it's rotary or sliders.
I'd rather pick the freq from a parametric instead of being limited to certain freqs from a graphic.
