Ashdown taking a long time for repair parts

Hey all,

The place I have my Ashdown Electric Blue 130 in for repairs hasn't been able to get a new transformer shipped from Ashdown in almost a month.

This seems a little weird, anyone know any reason why things might be getting delayed? It's not an amp they've made in a while, could that be it, or something???

very hard to tell without inside knowledge, which only ashdown has.

Maybe the repair shop dropped the ball?

The bulb in my V.U. meter recently died. I emailed them and got a new one within a week. Come to think of it, they did have a major snow storm in GB. Maybe that's causing the delay.

I also don't know how many Electric Blue 130 Transformers they have sitting around in stock.

Bulbs on the other hand, i'm sure they have a decent stock of.

I had the same situation getting a new Hartke A-70 transformer, it took a few weeks. All worked out when all was said and done though.
