A friend of mine just picked up a 4-string Corvette fretted... I played it for about 10 minutes, and (having never played a Warwick before) could not believe how well it played and how ridiculously solid, tight and punchy it sounded. I've owned Fenders, a Tobias, a Modulus, and Sadowsky. But even just that brief bit with the Warwick has me re-thinking my MTD 6-string fretless idea. My only complaint: that beast was heavy -- just a rock.
