I was just a simple guy asking a simple question. Nothing big or asking too much. Honestly I was just taken off guard off of the response. No bashing intended.

I did receive a response and maybe there was a misunderstanding of the comedy of his comment. But within the response was, WOW, you're incredibly sensitive.... So again... The humor...

K2000, I was just wondering if it was coming from Austin to Dallas. I wasn't asking for some overnight service. Just asked a simple question. No biggie of a question

Again, Josh has responded to me and I will clear that the comment was misunderstood and maybe poorly played as humor. This thread, by all means, is not a bash but rather sharing an experience.

OP, you said he was rude to you in the original post. IMO you just felt embarrassed because Malekko pointed out that it was a dumb question and a waste of his valuable time. Why would the pedal ship from Austin, when the company address is Portland ??? If you wanted to buy from a Texas retailer, just call them up directly - their addresses and phone numbers are on the Malekko website, the same place you got the phone number for the company headquarters.

I'm sorry, I just don't have any sympathy for you. Maybe he thought it was a prank phone call? How much deference do you need to give people who don't seem to have any common sense? What if you're really busy when all this happens?

Here's an interesting experiment... make a list of all the high-end small manufacturers like Jim Bergantino, Roger Sadowsky and so on. Then call each person up personally, to ask them if their merchandise ships out their home state, or will it ship from your home state. The ones who don't act like that's a ridiculous question are the ones who deserve your business.

By all means, though I'm not peaches and cream from the original conversation and it should have been different. I'm not back pedaling what happened and I clearly stated what happened without beefing up the story. Out of respect of Josh and his response to me, I felt the need to do so. No need to keep it posted. If someone would like to know, please feel free to PM me and I would be happy explain what happened.

Because almost 400 people have read this stupid thread criticizing Malekko for no good reason except that your feelings were mildly brushed up against, for acting stupid. Somebody needed to tell you that you are totally out of line here. I decided to do it.

It goes both ways. I don't think I need to explain customer service here. This is why when throwing out sarcastic humor that you may run the risk of a situation like this.

Again, I could be the bigger ass and not let it go, but I except the apology that was given to me and choose on my own half to remove it. If I have excepted an apology, that's it, it's done. So if you understand what I'm saying, you will respect it.
