ATK 305

When I get the bass I will give a good review of it and post some pics. I hope that the construction of the bass will be good. I am sure it will be tho its a 2007 fresh out of Ibanez. I have heard some sound clips and it sounds amazing. Do you think that Ibanez might later down the road charge more for it? I mean I paid $529.23 for it, tho it doesnt come with a case so I bought a Gator hardshell to go with. Thanks for some pics

I've always found the quality on Ibanez basses to be far greater than the price tag would suggest. Hopefully this applies with your ATK too! That Trifade finish is nice by the way. Good luck on surviving the month wait

I have read some reviews on the new 305s and some were good and some were bad. Being that they are made in Indonesia would that be bad?

I guess it would be like any high volume company, most are good and maybe 1 or 2 duds. We will see what I get. I guess if it doesnt turn out the way I like I can always send it back to Music 123.

Its a fairly common thing with some series of Ibanez basses, the neck dimensions of the 4 and 5 string are often near identical

Far too common... the reason I'm trying to sell my SR506 on Craiglist is mostly due to that supertight spacing.

I thought a 305 would be perfect for that aggressive sound I crave as well big string spacing... but guess not.
