ATK's on clearance at MF.

I called yesterday afternoon and got my order in for the Black 305...received shipping confirmation around 3am. I did however receive a cancellation this morning for the Black 300 that was back ordered.

Kind of amusing sidenote...the kid I talked to from Music123 yesterday is ending the call after I placed my order and he's like, "Ok, well thank you for choosing Musicians Friend....I mean Music123". Some racket.

My $130 Red Sparkle is in Earth City, MO now, as well.

By sunrise, flocks of sparkly ATK's will be swarming across the nation.

Thursday evening, droves TBr's and the countless TB lurkers will be passed out on the couch in a turkey-coma, ATK in one hand, half eaten drumstick in the other, with those dudes from STYX and REO Speedwagon trying to sell hits from the 80's on tv...

when suddenly, we awake to a new question & time of uncertainty: is it too soon to take the plastic wrap off of the pup?:hmm:

out of curiosity, what's the shipping weight showing on your basses? curious if we can tell which will be boat anchors in advance.

my black sparkle 5'er clocks in at 17.60 lbs according to ups. here's hoping that's 8 lbs of packing materials, but i bet that's more than a little wishful thinking on my part.

sadly my red sparkle 300 shipping weight is showing 17.60 :bawl:
