Mine arrived yesterday. My band also tunes down a half step, and, honestly, the strings feel plenty tight to me, and I'm not worried about the low A# lacking definition. I'll know more when I can play it through my rig which is currently packed into the band trailer for tomorrow night's gig.

Overall, I'd say I'm quite impressed with the quality of this bass. The neck feels great if not slightly chunky. Neck relief seems to be right on out of the box. Tuners seem solid as does the bridge. The fret ends do seem a bit rough, but I don't feel like it's something that would cause any problems for me. I weighed it on my postal scale... 11 lbs., 0.7oz. I have two other basses, and the heaviest of those is my other 5-string weighing in at 9 lbs., 4.3 oz., so that difference is noticeable. Still, on a neoprene strap, I don't see the weight being an issue for me either.

My biggest complaint is I didn't get a Music123 mug! :( :D

It was actually over by Friday night for the 4-string black ones (My 4pm eastern order was "canceled" due to no stock). The red sparkles lasted until Sunday and (I think) that the black 5-strings were sold out by Saturday night so it was pretty much "over in a flash". Some were buying more than one. Read the thread and you will see a few twins.

I ordered my black 5 string saturday night/sunday morning. and later that morning they were gone :)
I just meant that ALL atks were gone by sunday

My Bass is in Windsor locks CT...thats 15 mins away..why cant I have it ..oh why.

AND..I swear accordin to my memory..I ordered mine before some of you who already got yours...

CT...

Nope..the schedule said they were off on thanksgiving..and the friday after.

I heard thru the vine that only "2nd day air+" and such get delivered on friday.

O..its drivin me nuts.
Got a gig tomorrow too. was hopin..:crying:

I just know I'll get it and suttin will b wrong .:hmm:

AND..some of the folks here are already cuttin theres up...or just got one cuz it was a bargain..or had nuthin better to do...

I actually really wanted an atk..and its been soooo close thru this whole journey.

In fact..I posted early on.."stop posting..theyll sell out b4 I can get one"..
Someone posted..AHHH...dont worry..they're in w/MF and GC..they got a zillion of em (suttin like that) and what do u know...sold out like 1hr aft I ordered mine.

Anyway..this has been quite an adventure..and I still think 10 days for UPS ground is REdiculous.

Rant over..for now..
