Just my luck, I only look at TB every once in several blue moons and I just miss a meetup! Maybe my timing will be better for the next one.

That's the one!Is this the Joe’s at 11950 Jones Bridge Rd in Alpharetta/ John’s Creek?
A) It's tough to find a venue that will donate a room to you for free.Yeah I'm thinkin you got the name wrong. It should be "Alpharetta Bass Player's Hang."
Intown ATLien here not so psyched on a trip to the northerly exurban empire
Sure, all valid.A) It's tough to find a venue that will donate a room to you for free.
B) This is the first of many events. The goal is to gauge participation, then at some point, charge a fee for the event to pay national artists to attend
C) No-one else has gone through the hassle of trying to do something similar, so.... beggars can't be choosers?
We'll continue to move forward...
Also, this isn't just a Joe-shmoe get together. We really do have national artists that are attending. I was talking with Victor Wooten a few weeks ago. He even offered to come down once this is a regular event.Sure, all valid.
I'll choose to go when Atlanta Bass Players does a Bass Hang in Atlanta.
Cool man, I really just hate driving OTP.Also, this isn't just a Joe-shmoe get together. We really do have national artists that are attending. I was talking with Victor Wooten a few weeks ago. He even offered to come down once this is a regular event.
But that's okay. I respect your choice.
First time, with no real idea what to expect, and no big names? $10.@ProbablyTooLoud, honest question. how much would you be willing to play to help cover the cost of a venue in Atlanta proper?
