Audere Question?

I recently traded for a Fender jazz with an audere preamp in it with 60's custom shop pups. With the audere blend knob, which way do I turn it to select the neck pup, and/or bridge pickup? Also what settings do you find the most use able tones?
 
The default arrangement for most blend pots is that turning clockwise gives you the neck and counterclockwise gives you the bridge. The person who installed the Audere could have set it up either way, though. Fortunately, the pickup wires are held in place by simple set screw rather than solder in the Audere, so if the blend doesn't go in the direction you want, it's a simple matter to go in and swap them...

Use your ears.

One of the pickups will sound more trebly / slightly thinner than the other one. That one's the bridge pickup. The other will sound fuller and deeper than the other one. That's the neck pickup.

This will tell you which way the blend pickup is working.

Use your ears. :D

And play around with the preamp in a band setting, not just by yourself. You'll adjust things more properly for your situation if you adjust them in context.
 
Are there any adjustment for pickups with different outputs
You can reduce the louder pickup output (note Low Z-Mode is already adjustable)

For 3ZB
If the bridge is louder - add resistance to the black/orange
Neck... white/orange
I recommend using a pot to find a good value then insert a fixed R

You can do almost do the same trick but you would need to remove and solder in 0603 SMT parts down without harming the circuit board.
