Thanks! Sometimes maybe what I do is a little like improv jazz... I start out with some idea of where I want to end up, but I'm not quite sure what the route is going to be, and I might not end up there after all. Like one time Eminence designed this custom woofer for me, and it wasn't really what I wanted... but wait, it does these other things really well, so maybe it's better than what I wanted after all

i tend to think of that as composition, cause i bet you do a lot of editing.

I wanted to try my cabs with something more tubey than my pope or markbass LMK. So I pulled out my old trace V type preamp. I don't think I appreciated how great these are when I was using it more or maybe these cabs just awoke something in it but wow.. nasty...was playing my Reimer PJ5 passive with a pick...

Sweet! I love that your pre and power amp probably weight 2x what the Hathor does. Bet it sounded killer.

Used my Hathor 212 last night with my 90's rock cover band. You can barely see it behind me. It was perfect for this tiny little stage we were crammed on. Ran it with a PF800 and Road Worn jazz. Sounded great!

On one cab no problem. I wouldn't stack it on 2 cabs. I have stacked the pope qsc rig behind on both as it's lighter. Although on mobile stages I have just put the head on my pedal case.

Mark, you didn't ask me, and I'm not gigging. But I can report that these stacks were rock solid. So stable that poking the head caused the whole stack to jiggle as one piece on the isolation pad's foam:

What are your thoughts about pairing the Greenboy (F112 I assume) with the Hathor (1203 I assume). That's what I'll be doing when my 1203 arrives. I use Acoustic Image heads (Focus and Clarus) and play small lounges (no drummer), noisy pubs with stix, outdoor shows, loud party boats and so on. Duke said I could expect very favorable results.

My pleasure! By the way, I wasn't dropping a "do a search" hint. I just want to quote to you my initial thoughts about those Hathor 1203 stacks, rather than try to recall what I thought.
