A guy is selling his SB112. It was purchased in November 2007. I asked him if it had the newer LF Neo with extended XMAX. He wasn't sure. Does anyone know if the newer Deltalite LF was already being used by this production date?
As long as it is the one that came with it, the speaker will be the Deltalite 2 LF model!
Hi:
Just spoke to Spencer at Avatar about buying two B210s. I am also looking at a SWR Workingman 700W to drive them. Anyone have any experience with that combination? It gets tricky when the cabs you want are not sold in stores...
Thanks

here is a question for you folks
I hear alot of people saying neo speakers have an annoying amount of high mids
does this hold true for avatar? or are these different?
hows this: can somebody upload a sound clip? I would like to hear an avatar cab in action before I purchase one..
I have three different cabinets with neo speakers in them. A Mesa Powerhouse 12, a homemade 1-15 small folded horn with an Eminence Deltalite, and my current favorite stand alone cabinet, an AVATAR! Its' a neo B-410. I hear a much more 'musical' sound from neo speakers in all three neo equipped cabs I own, and in others I've tried. I don't know why, but to my ears, the mids sound less harsh than conventional magnet drivers. I've been playing for over 40 years now, and have heard just about everything, owned most of it, too! The Avatar blows away my Acme 4-10, Ampeg 4-10 hlf, GK 4-10, and my original SWR Goliath 1. I finally have a 4-10 cabinet that I actually like! I'm pretty sure if you buy one, you won't be dissapointed.
Remember, if you buy an Avatar, they have a TRIAL PERIOD! if you don't like it, you can send it back.
P.S. This cabinet is seen and heard a lot in the Reno, Tahoe area... a lot of sound engineers and bassists have remarked on its' sound, and some pretty critical players- including my friend Charlie, an EA Accugroove / Schroeder user have sat in, played through it and loved it.

I was going to order a 212 Neo and a 210 both in 8 ohms, but wonder....I was going to order a 212 Neo and a 210 both in 8 ohms, but wonder....
I have a Fender 300T head. Will just a single Avatar 212@4ohms or an Avatar 410@4ohms handle the head at 4ohms?
