I've got the delta non-neo 2x12, which I picked up used. Have a line on a second delta 2x12... Very clean.

Two questions:

1. Aside from weight, is there much difference between the neo and old school avatar 2x12's?

2. Is the new price of the neo 2x12 similar to that for the non-neo delta variant? Didn't know if the shift to neo brought the avatar prices up a bit.

In the neo 212B, you have an improved 2-way crossover mounted on a metal plate. I don't know what the non-neo version sold for new, sorry.

Has anybody gotten a club number lately? I'm kind of thinking that lewislngvw has left us like a crazy old cat lady who dies but nobody misses her until the rent is due and by the time the Sheriff comes to evict the cats have eaten her :(

i think they both would do just fine, i chose the B212 so as to have more internal volume per speaker but i have no idea what that means anyhow... :hmm: but it sounds grrrreat!

I will join as soon as I get mine! I'm really wanting an Avatar 410 or 212. Which would go better with my SWR Workingman 4004 (400w at 4 ohms) amp? I want good bottom end and wasn't sure if the 410's will get me there.

I'd like a number as well, please! :hyper:

SOme of you may have seen my other thread recently, but I gotta post 'officially' here to join this club

Thank you! :bassist:

Guys, I'll take over the numbering for lewis in case he's not coming back. If he'd like to resume, I will step aside and pass the baton back to him.

After reviewing where he left off, here's what I've got so far. Let me know if I missed you and I'll add you on! There were some other posts there, but people weren't asking for numbers or to be added...

Also of note: I'll be gone from June 7th to June 23rd, but then I'll be back at it again. Please be patient during that time.

Is it completely asinine to have the desire to sell off my 2x10" & 2x12" Neos... only to purchase new Avatar cabs with Line-X coating?... or only partially asinine. :smug:

We have cats, and I'm getting really tired cleaning off their fur, of which comes off in spades. I'm also unsure that if I do I should upgrade from the 2x10" to a 4x10" as the cabinet "farts out" at certain points (it's my "effects cab" - I run a Clean/Dirty setup), or if that's overkill, or I should get all three for a great "mix 'n match" setup.

I have cabinet GAS. :help:

An honorable undertaking, sir, thank you.

The Avatar Owners Club lives again! :hyper:

You're welcome! I was inspired by Ricky Daion taking the numbering over at the GK club, and the Avatar club DEFINITELY needs to be represented! Awesome cabs! :bassist:

I'd like a number as well!

No problem, aurian! What Avatar cab(s) do you own? Any pics?
