I wanted a smaller cabinet to play some of the smaller venues (primarily churches). However, the little 8 ohm, SB112 couldn't hold its own against the Hammond organs and Leslie speaker cabinets.

I was playing through the Shuttle 6.0. So, the more I tried to get more volume, the more the amp clipped. I am hoping that the 4 ohm B210 will fare better.
What about getting an additional 112 at 8 ohms?

I'm already #3 so that still makes #95 open.
Does it come in black? Go down to 2 ohms? Have a 35" scale and 19mm spacing? O.K., I'll take two of 'em then. -GK Club #2 - Eden Electronics Club #2 - MTD (non U.S.) Club #14
your sig doesnt reflect that :rollno:

me? no avatar bass stuff yet, but i have dealt with them with guitar stuff (and gotten some killer closeout prices on "discontinued" speakers).
but i am thinking on it--- the 212 neo looks better and better.

I was a dyed in the wool SWR Cab guy for years. My old 8x8 and 212 were great but stacked they were a little tippy. This time around I had to pinch a few pennies to get some cabs and these fit the bill handily. I love these things. Light, narrow, stack well, and throw sound like no-ones business. I currently will just be using either/or for gigs. I just sold the Carvin and ordered an Markbass F1. I'm going to a lighter rig and these are light for what they are. I picked up a nice osp 4 space ATA as well. Much improved over the skb behemoth. It sits perfectly on top of the Avatars and is only 14" deep without the lids.

add me to the club.:hyper:

Hey Dannster - I'm just down the road in Tacoma, and I've got those identical cabs at 4 ohms each too! Guess we can start the "Orange Tolex 4 Ohm Avatar Club" now. I don't have the Mesa anymore, I power them with an SVT-CL these days - but I like the 10's on top. You're right - a great sounding stack!

mixing would be neat...

I am buying a b410 neo as soon as i sell my GK 115, and I am completely torn about what color to get haha....

the blue looks SO amazing, I love it.... but the orange matches my bass so much better (amber finish with a red pickguard on my jazz bass)

i feel like the yellowy orange nature of my jazz bass would clash with the blue and match better with the orange, but the blue is just so damn sexy....

so those of you with colored tolex... does the color match your bass?
