Avatar 410NEO in red at 4ohms.

I use it with either an AMPEG SVT CL or a SUNN COLESIUM.
Both sound amazing through this cab.
Sometimes I pair it with my upgraded Sunn 215B cab and...
WATCH OUT! Crazy awesome.

I probably looked exactly like this the day it arrived.

Which of these grill cloths would work best with red tolex? I'm thinking of the Marshall style small weave cane. What's a good colored tolex/grill cloth combo?

That one seems good, some red in it, but not enough to worry about a tonal mis-match.

Hey all,

I'm thinking of getting another cab to go with my 212. Something lighter weight to drag back and forth to practice. I can't decide whether to get a 210 or a 112. I love the sound of my 212, but I hear that the 210 is a bit thinner sounding than the 12's.

...............I have had no issues so far, nice and tight, using two 210 Neos with a Genz-Benz GBE 1200. I play more four than five, but still dabble with the "cable" now and then.

Yeah, it's worth a shot . I just want to make sure the cab colors match the case if I'm going with something that isn't black.

yea matching is important, I actually really wanted blue tolex, but since my 115 is black carpet already I just had to get the 210 in carpet as well.

nah its a GK SBX-ii 115, I like it alot, though it can be a little booming at times, I thought about swapping it for an avatar 212 but right now i would rather just see how it works with the avatar 210 because i hate selling stuff.

Let us know how that sounds. Been looking at getting a mickey mouse stack myself (115 + 210), but since Dave doesn't make a 115 any more, it'll probably be a 212 instead.

Do i qualify for a number yet? i have been poking around this club for half a year but now I finally have ordered an avatar cab!

BTW, I have a 212 and my next cab from Dave will be a matching 210 in green Tolex; a modular rig for any size requirement.

I have two neo210 at 8ohms each and a neo 410 at 4 ohms. Got the 10's after the 410. All sound quite good but I felt the 2x10's would be more flexible for gigs. When stacked ontop of each other in a traditional 410 way the vertical footprint is about 6" taller. When I use them I either stack them vertically or apart on ech side of the stage. I use a Shuttle 6 and play a 5 string Steinberger. I'm still breaking in the amp and speakers so haven't really found my sound with them as of yet.

Hello, I'm going to order a couple Avatar cabs tomorrow (210 & 212) and I'm leaning towards the blonde tolex. I'm a little worried about keeping the blonde looking good. Any blonde owners out there have any issues keeping the tolex clean? Maybe the brown is a better option. Thanks for the help.

I've had mine for almost 6 months now, and it looks as good as the day I got it. Keep in mind that it's only being used here at home, and not out at shows. Dave assured me that it's easy to keep clean and take care of.

I ended up ordering the blondes last Monday. The guy on the phone said that the blonde is one of the heavier tolex that they use & hold up well.

Does this mean I can get a number?
