Well I'm not exactly sure if I ever signed on for this, but I will go ahead and show my updated rig! Can someone check to see if I am already part of my club, because I would like to put it in my sig!

That is my rig...2 Avatar 210 Neo's with a GK Backline 600 head

And here is the way I play it...stacked vertically! My 2000 MIM Jazz is always by its side!

As for my own question, I found this from the reviews section:

"My only gripe is that I already scuffed the groovy purple tolex. I was trying to avoid the pet hair issue of carpet. If I had a do-over I would probably go with the Linex truck bed coating. Who knew?"

I think I will just go with the Linex, the price difference is very small.

could someone please give me some specs on two particular avatar cabinets?
I'm looking for the dimensions, and power handling of a 115 and a 210. both 8 ohm
if the specs wind up being what I need, then I'll join the club sunday :]

I have a chance at getting a 115 and a 210. I'd rather have a 410 and a 210, or better yet a 212 and a 210. But the 115 and 210 were offered in a trade for my carvin cabinet...
anyway, in your experience, what styles of music would the 115 and 210 be well suited for... and in what styles would they be lacking?

D'oh.

Well, read the website. Has anything you need.

Plus, your head and the ohms of the cabs also has an effect.

thanks Jordash :] that gave me the specs on the 210

I can't find the specs on the 115.

I'm used to running my amp in bridged mode with an 810
1200 watts at 4 ohms
or a 410 for practice (with the volume on about 1 and a half)
800 watts at 8 ohms
so I don't think the avatar combo would hold up to bridged. I doubt they'd handle 1200 watts between the two of them if the 210 only handles 500
so I'd have to run two channel... at 8 ohms, that would be 275 what's each... the 115 should handle more than 275 watts..right?

Yeah, youre right. Probably not going to pmump out 1200 watts.

Plus, I dont think Avatar currently makes a 115, unless its an older model.

If youre looking for power and 1200 watts! stick with you your Carvin.
