I just took delivery of my brand new SB112 Red Tolex 4 ohms, packaged extremely well, no damage that I can see.. Just letting it warm up here at work, cant wait to fire her up tonight, pics later! Should sound good with my B212 until I can aquire another SB112 for a mini stack to use with my NeoPak

and here it is, i already have a number so no worries, i love this cab, it sounds to me thicker and fuller than the B212, must be cabinet volume... I will use the SB112 alone for church gigs and these together for bar gigs until i get another SB112 for my 500 watt 2 ohm mini stack

Very Nice,

Like the red...............

So you feel the 112 is fuller/thicker than the 212? I have owned a 212, but never had the chance to try a 112. I may just have to try one out (order)...............You pretty much have to commit and get one, but I have not really been disapointed yet with any newer Avatar cabinet.

kaiser, that's awesome. I love how the Avatar stuff stacks. I like your short stack too! Nice and portable. The red is very eye-catching. I went with the dark green myself.

To what Laredo said, I agree that any Avatar purchase is a 99% sure thing that you'll like it, especially if you have one already. I'd love to get a matching 2x10 for my 212 so I can have the small/medium/large rig options. :bassist:

Perhaps i'm not expressing myself well but it seems that the B212 is more mid oriented than the SB112, so the SB112 feels more like a 15 in that regard but retains the quickness of a 12 and not quite as pillowy. I believe this is due to the increased volume per driver of the SB112 vs B212

That's some interesting food for thought...a 112 vs a 2x10 for my 'small' cab....

I just ordered a 2x12 and a 2x10 from Avatar this week. Both in RED tolex. I'm pretty excited! :hyper:

Awesome!! Post up some pics so we can contrast it to kaiser's rig! Welcome aboard!

Hey; Laziness forces me to make a post rather than do any real digging. I want to sit a B210 NEO on top of my B410 NEO. Just to get some speakers closer to ear leve and also in the interest of portability.

Anyone have a picture of said setup.....B210 on top of B410?

Thanks

The 410 enclosure is the same size as the 212, so if you're looking for comparisons, a 210 on a 212 will give you the same total height.

I guess I'm looking to see how awkward the gap between the sets of speakers would look including the port. More of an aesthetic thing but whatever, I'm a little shallow like that.

I like the Idea of adding a second B410 and setting them both on there side and stacking them.
