After My Wife and I got married our roommate moved out. It was a mutual agreement. He now lives in an apartment in the same building just up the stairs and down the hall. We are still good friends.

Anyways; that gave us room to make a practice space for myself and I finally got around to getting all the cousins, aunts and uncles together for a family portrait. I've already got a number this is just my proof :D.

Nothing much to see here; 410NEO 4 ohms in Black Tolex. I plan on adding either a 210NEO 8ohms, or another 410NEO 4ohms. Suggestions?

BTW: That phallic looking thing on the Ashdown Practice amp is a Young Living Essential Oils diffuser. Most definitely not bass related (the lavender smells good though).

Also those holes in the rack are mocking me and are soon to be filled. :hyper: I also want to replace the Gemini with a Furman.

picked up a 212 neo off craigslist last month and really love the way it sounds.

modded J-bass --> Sansamp BDDI --> late 80's Trace AH500X --> Avater 212 Neo is a winner!

i had a problem with sound cutting out in the cab at high volumes and Dave from Avatar helped me pinpoint the issue right away, even though i bought the cab used and never dealt with his company. i know i'm preaching to the choir when it comes to Avatar's customer service, but it was definitely the kind of experience that makes one a lifelong customer.

I just picked up a used Avatar 410 neo in mint condition from Daddy's Junky Music for $299.99. It is awesome. I called Dave to tell him how happy I was with the cab. Next up is a neo 212.

All you guys who are thinking about buying an Avatar do it soon. Dave said that the price of the neo magnet material is going up.

Could I get a number please?

I would probably go the 212 over the 112. The LMII is rated 300W@8Ω the Avatar 112 is rated for 250W. I have the 112 neo that I play through a GK backline 600. It's fine for smaller clubs but doesn't move enough air for my liking in a bigger room, I usually add my Peavey 115 for those. As I prefer to travel light I might get a 212 to replace the 115( the Peavey is seriously heavy), use the 212 for most gigs and add the 112 for large or outdoor gigs or alone for the occasional small low volume gig

Oh ok, I thought the LMII was rated at 250W for 8ohm for some reason, but your right.
Now I have to figure out how to fit a 2x12 into my car. :rollno:

What kind of car are you driving? You should be able to get it into the back seat of just about anything. I used to get a 410 Ashdown in the back seat of My Escort. However I wised up and bought a Protege5 to replace it this year, much easier to load/unload. I would think you'd be able to get both a 212 and a 210 in the back with the head

2-door Honda Accord. Probably could get it in the back seat with some work haha. The amp I have now, Ampeg BA115 combo, can fit in the back seat. It usually rides along in the passenger seat. :smug:

yeah, i looked it up on youtube and they are pretty awesome. they are very versatile from what else i have seen. on the metaphors, it is only a slight change. the bass big muff pi sounds raw, and you can even get some distorted, synth-like tones. or it can be supa subtle. its a bad pedal. :bassist:

Do you guys really need the 212+410 stack for your gigs? Or is it just that having more than enough is fun?

Would i beable to do most gigs with a 4ohm avatar 212 and a LMII?

Or should i get it in 8 ohms so i can really build on it....
or just stick with my svt15+swr210....
