Gotta ask, how did you get the orange mesh? I got an orange 210, and like the black but want to go something a tad better. OR custom-er?

yeah, sadly its not orange, its more of a "wicker" look. The guy spray painted it to match the tweed on a marshal stack he had sitting next to it. It probably will get painted orange though

after reading this thread i'm sold on avatar,my current set up just to heavey anymore.i'd like alittle advice on setup though.trying to choose between: 210-112,210-212,112-212.play classic rock originals geared toward funk so some slap.currently running 2-115s thru gk700rbll.the gk stays.thanks

I suppose it boils down to how light do you want to go. 2 112's 8Ω would work fine and would handle the power ok, but if you wanted to only use 1 cab you'd be iffy as the rb 700 puts out 320W @ 8Ω and the cab is rated for 250W. a 212 112 would be nice as would 2 212's and as they're only
56 lbs each, probably 20-30 lbs less then your 115's. BTW the Avatar/GK combo sounds great and is quite popular on TB.

I was working on a trade with a guy who lived about an hour away. He misunderstood, that I wanted to know if the 15 was a delta or a kappa... so he pulled the 10 out to see which one it was (obviously the website says they are deltas), anyway, when he pulled it out to see what it was, he dropped it face down and ruined it. He threw an extra 50 dollars in with the trade though, and I just found a barely used delta 10 for 48 shipped that should be here saturday.
So now I just have to decide what I'm reloading the 15 with.

so which 15 should I use for the b115? kappalite 3015? or should I use something other than eminence? carvin 15 neos are SUPPOSEDLY rebranded eminence, they are 100 bucks, but I don't know WHICH model eminence they are
anybody have any suggestions?

Thanks for the pic. I just ordered a blue 2x10 for my home practice rig. It was a huge debate in my poor little head for the 2x10 vs the 1x12.

I figure if i love it, my next will be a 2x12 to supplement. If that isn't enough another 2x10. My amp can handle the ohms of the 3.

It might be cool if there was an Avatar 1x15 neo cab.

wow, that blue cab is NICE!!!
I was thinking of recovering mine, but after loading my 210, I'm really not happy with the sound... it distorts WAY too easily. So I think I'm going to get rid of my avatars.

I've tried a carvin bx1200, running only one side, tried different crossover frequencies
tried a hartke 3500
and tried a carvin probass 300
using the same instrument, and same amp settings, I can get great sound without distortion at about twice the volume with a 15 year old 4 ohm carvin 210 that spent a couple months outside (thought it was stored in my fathers house, found out he put it behind his garage :[), the cones on the carvin are covered in elmers glue just to hold them together after they dry rotted. Between 2 and 3 on the hartke with the 4 ohm carvin, the speakers will start to buzz a little. Between 1 and 2 on the same amp, with an 8 ohm avatar 210, it sounds like the speakers are "farting"

Are they Neos? I am running 500 watts into my 210, 112 set up and it is not only stupid loud, but doesn't fart in the slightest.

Got my cab today and couldnt be happier. Sounds 10x better than the GK 410GLX I had. Still running it through the GK Backline 600 tho. Ampeg B4R should be here in a couple days so that should be awesome. Heres a crappy cellphone pic since my camera battery is dead.
