Avatar players - your opinion?

Really wanting a new Avatar cab... (black tolex/black+silver weave grill) I need a cab that's clean, focused, and versatile... in both tone and power handling jazz/covers/CCM/classic rock/etc... from Monk to Creedence to Michael W Smith to funk

Question is to you Avatar guys because you actually play these cabs: I have heard it said that there is a big hole in the 410NEO response in the upper mids... What's the deal? I could go either way, 2x12 or 4x10, but I'm leaning toward the 410. Which would you say would be better in my case? If I need to get big and use up both sides of my BX1500, I could add a cab and bi-amp, but usually it would just be one cab.

Love my b212. Gets great sound and projects nicely. It's fairly light too ... though I am considering selling it in favor of a 2 x 112 set up.

I have a 210, and like it a lot. One of my favorite cabs. I prefer my Acme's, but I don't think there's a better bang for the buck than Avatar.

I have a B410 Neo and a B212 (LF) and get all the mid bark I want. And more than I need, my experience has been nothing short of spectacular.

I have an avatar 410 neo and i dont really understand when people say it has a hole in the upper mids. If anything i find it has very forward upper mids compared to my other cabs. I find that avatar cab is incredible, huge lows, punchy mids and lots of top end. If your looking for a clean focused bass sound with great lows and top end i dont think you could do much better than the avatar 410.

I'm using two Avatar Neo 210 cabinets as a vertical 410...
Great sounding rig.

I have been using this cab for the last 5 years and I love it. Great sound handles 1000 watts all around one of the beat cabs I have ever used.

Sounds like both are good - 410 may be more my ticket. I was thinking that any cab will have some natural frequency preferences, but this BX1500 amp does have a lot of EQ, so I should have control.

My 212 is amazing, but I'm dying to get a 410 for more speaker area and more 'punch'... thats not to say the 212 doesn't have it, but I've just joined a hardrock/metal band and I need all the punch i can get!

Do it man, the 410 is just what your looking for.

Avatar is a good cab for the money. You have to spend a lot more to get something better. You won't go wrong.

I have been using a pair of 2 x 10's for two years and they work and sound great. Most of the time I only use one of the 2 x 10's.

Been using a Neo 410 and it punches really good. 1000 watts so you don't have to be shy hittin it with some juice. It's very much a full range cab so whatever you need out of it, it will give you. Very nice sounding cab, and loud. Holes? Never noticed any.
