Average bassplayer's height

I asked a question regarding having a tilt back feature for a Subway 2x12 bass cab. @agedhorse responded "The 212 was a little too short for an average height player to tilt back without stooping over. We looked into that." No disrespect to Andy or Mesa whatsoever, everything about their gear is the best of engineering, build, and tone quality, but I'm curious to find out what the average height of TB members are. I'm 5'8" and shrinking at 62 years of age.

I'm the shortest one so far, but in my defense, I am female. However, I am far from average, being somewhat crappy at what I do. I want to know how tall the really good bass players are!

In real life I am down with my third cup, and that's gonna be it unless I want to be a fidgeting, blithering, hyperactive idiot all morning. It could be argued that's me every day, though.

Or how short?? I'm in the somewhat crappy group too. Are you saying you have to be tall to play bass competently?

I salute and aspire to the 3-cup cut-off. If there's any in a pot, I'll drink it although I try to keep it to decaf and stop before noon.

I'm 5-10, and my long-time favorite rig is a tall stack of two 2x10s with amp on top. No tilting or stooping required, and I can always hear myself well in the mix.

I'm a firm believer in getting the sound of my rig aimed at my ears instead of my knees . . . I always either stack multiple cabs - or if I'm only using one cab then I put it on a chair, box, wedge, etc.

My man. I am an all day coffee drinker myself. Staying on topic, I'm 6'5" so whoever made up the bit about it stunting your growth is full of ****.
