AVRI options, neck swap or not.

Hi all,

I have 63 and 58 AVRI basses, and I love both of them.
Anyway, recently I swapped the necks over for a different look as shown in the pics and thought I would see what everyone likes.
Soundwise, they all sound like me playing, especially at gig volumes and playing comfort is really not an issue here as I am equally comfortable playing both, so really comes down to looks.

I do prefer the maple neck for darker venues though as it is easier to see.

So, what say you?

I’m loving the sonic blue with maple. So I vote that.

To me the blue and rosewood looks really classic and classy.And you can’t go wrong with white/gold guard and maple. But the great thing is that you can always swap back. Nice to have options!

I didn't vote because in my opinion....they all look great! I'm in a similar situation, blonde 57 AVRI and sunburst 62 AVRI. Slightly prefer the maple neck 57, but play them both lots.

Surprised how much I'm digging the rosewood on the 58.

Fade sonic blue look match with both neck.

The blonde with rosewood board neck recall me the previous Highway1.

Personally, my favorite look for a Precision is the '59 style, white blonde, gold guard, and a rosewood board. And I also think the Sonic Blue looks pretty classy with the maple neck. But either way, both need covers.

Which one is supposed to Sonic Blue? Top one looks Olympic White and the bottom one looks like a Blond as you can see the ash grain underneath.

I assume the Sonic Blue is the top one in both pictures? Looks white to me but I liked it the best with both necks but especially with the maple neck so that's how I voted.

Throw the gold guard on the '63 AVRI and go for the '59 look.
