Can anyone confirm if it can drive a power amp from the 1/4 out like a VT Bass can?

nope. it only has a lot of output if you use the drive control (and dial in the dirt). with the drive all the way down, it's only at unity gain (instrument level) with the volume dimed.

i'll try to in the next couple of days. while I think that the UD is very good and I love mine, IMO, this one is a lot better.

In what way would you say its better johnk_10? Is there much difference in the tone of the OD or is it better becuase of more EQ options?

since it has a full eq and a voice (pregain freq) control, you're able to get a lot more tones and have a lot more control of them out of it.
