AZ gtg anyone?

Hey Hapa........still buddies with Carry Nordstrand? Maybe they'd be willing to hop over for the event too.

I can bring a hand full of my basses if anyone is interested.

We could also invite Joe of JHawkcustoms. He's the regional builder for fEarful and Greenboy cabs. I'd love to check them out too.

I'd be happy to throw in some "sponsorship" money. LMK what it will take to gitt'r done and maybe together we can make some phone calls to make this happen and possibly get some shwag from some of the companies I work with.

Anyone connected in the PHX area that can hook up a "Blues Jam" at a club on a Sunday afternoon or possibly mid week? I can get that done in Tucson, but not connected in PHX. I can see it now...... 20 bass players and one really tired guitar player and drummer......:bassist:

Cheers.

This all sounds cool. I have yet to play/hear these fabled fEarful cabs. I talk with Carey regularly, I will ask. If we can make this big enough swag will happen. As far as a Jam...that adds another aspect, I am down for it. I have some players willing to help out. Not many I have only lived here for 6 months. lets keep this list bumping and everybody reach out to the bass players you know.

I definitely know some bassists in the east valley that would want to come to something like this

Chasers in Scottsdale/ Tempe its a dive Bar, they have a stage, and I have witnessed public rehearsals there. If they sold only 6 beers more than a normal night im sure they'd be happy. Im sure I could arrange that, other wise Band Oasis rehearsal studio's I am familiar with the owner.

Groovy man. Let's keep chatting up the Sept. 16th Date. Would SWR and Genz be up with hosting a "Gear Review" and possibly backlining the event? I'd be willing to put $100 bucks towards food/sponsorship, of some sort.

Let's keep this thing going. We can make it a great GTG. I can start calling some manufactures and sales reps to see what kind of SWAG I might be able to get for us. Maybe we can have an AZ Bass Palyer T-shirt made up. I have a connection that can do 1 color T's for $4 each.

Peace.

I can bring a GK 1001rbii and 700rbii for amps, My only cab is a road worn ampeg svt classic 810... I think we all have played those before ;)

I can certainly bring my Ashdown MiBass 220. It's not the most powerful, but sounds amazing, not to mention not a whole lot of people have played through them.
