I'll see if Skip (Circle-K) can send some string packs we can use as door prises too. Heck, I'd even be willing to through in a gift cert. or two towards a custom build, bass mod, or refinish or something. Just want to make it fun and worth while for everyone.

I'll bring my JC Custom 8-string and, if I finish building it by then, a singlecut 6er. I could also bring my Carvin 4x10 + 1x18 stack, but it sounds like there might be enough amp power already.

Some of us actually have regular Sunday afternoon gigs, as part of a burgeoning acoustic/wine bar scene. I'd love to be able to commit to this, but would need more specificity, before doing so. If it's just a pure GTG, without all of the fancy gear display, and such, then we could simply take over my acoustic duo gig, and play mix & match with the jams, and the group's fee could be used to cover some refreshments. Vine Expressions, in Gilbert, is a large enough room, and more towards Tucson, when compared to some of the other venues named. It really depends on what we want this to be.

As stated previously, I also have some commitments that I'll have to juggle to make this.
I'll do what I can as times are finalized.

However, if the GTG is going to be as far to the South/East as Gilbert, I'd probably have to bow out. Time pressures disallow it, as I live in the far West valley, and travel time would likely kill other commitments.

Sounds like potentially a cool hang, though. Looks as if I would be representing the "Budget/Cheap Gear" party by comparison, but I'd definitely try to get there.

There will always be some people who can't make it. I personally think Sunday afternoon gives the most time for most players to make it at some point.

In the spirit of a GTG, a more personal space to try different gear, then going to a jam later or creating our own jam gives the most lattitude.

To all Tucson Bassed musicians, I have a truck as well and can cary plenty of equipment as well, but I only have room for 1 additional normal sized person. It has a back seat, but it will be stacked with basses.
