AZ gtg anyone?

Two new projects I hope to showcase at the GTG. Of course I will bring several basses for y'all to try.

BTW, I have an over the shoulder bag being donated by Cort/Mighty Mite and I hope to have several sets of strings from Circle K to give away as well. :bassist:

Also, would the group be interested in doing a raffle for this?

I can do $10 raffle tickets. As long as I sold a minimum of 50 tickets I would be willing to let it go. I would value this bass at somewhere in the $900 range - retail price.

Thoughts?
I'd be down to enter the raffle, especially to support a local bass builder!

Ok I've got the Ice House Tavern booked for our Phoenix GTG on Sunday afternoon Sept. 16th from 2 till around 6.

My names Eric, I'll be there at 1:30 to help set up and greet you guys. Just roll your gear on past the front door to the stage entrance door you'll find around back.

Here's the link to the bars site w/address and directions: Invalid Link Removed

I'll prolly be bringing some of my band mates for jam sessions and performing short sets. You guys are all totally welcome to bring yours along to play on stage too.

I was thinking It'd be cool if just 1 drummer would donate the use of a decent basic kit for all the drummers to use throughout the afternoon. I think that would save time, space and clutter, instead of having several kits stored all over the place...

I'll check with my drummers and let me know If any of your drummers want to bring a decent basic kit for all the drummers to share.

I'll prolly post more details later, but this thing is definitely ON! See ya there.

Eric, Thank you very much for setting this all up. I will ask my drummer, but it's not the greatest kit. It's very basic and has seen many years of gigging. But I'll ask none the less.

As far as facebook Event is concerned, I can set one up today, and post a link to it.

Thanks again man.

Cheers \_/

BTW, spoke with Skip Fantry at Circle K. He is donating 3 two packs of strings (that's 6 sets total) of balanced and traditional balance strings for door prizes.

I will also through in a 30% off coupon for a custom bass as a door prize.

Is anyone interested in MC'ing the event? I'd be happy to but I don't want to Bogart the event. ; - )

Peace.
