B104 ESP nut replacement

I've been searching for hours looking for the replacement and I've gotten two results:

It's either a 38mm or a standard 40mm nut.

Can anyone by any chance give me more specifications than just that? I'm kind of new to the bass and from the time I've played I've really enjoyed it. Thanks again and I look forward to your response

Measure the width of the neck at the nut slot, then measure the width of the nut slot, and you will know what blank you will need, then order that size preslotted or blank nut
