B25B -- 4x10 or 2x15?

Great thread. Info and pics are hard to find on these things. I picked this one up recently. It had been thru the ringer, but I used a similar B25B with Emi Legends at a recording session. Removed the spray painted grill and found this. Would this be the Bass reflex design or is this more likely another mod from previous owners?

Unless ampeg made some major changes to the B25 over the years that looks to be modified. This was my stock 73 B25B cab

I just got this B25B about a week ago. In mint condition. I think from '78. Spent about $160 getting it gig-worthy.
The previous owner had chopped the original cab in half and proceeded to make an fairly decent cabinet out of it. the original eminence speaker was pretty much dead so I put a fane sovereign 15-250 in it. Sounds pretty great.

I have a late 70's b25b with matching 215 cab. Great sounding rig!

Here's a picture of my b25b with 215 cabinet. Has really good tone and easy to get the overdriven tube sound. For 60 watts it's loud with the 215 cab.

There's one on my local kijiji, which is Canadian Craigslist, for 1500, with a vantage bass. Looks in good condition, recently retubed, and I think the speakers are original. It's kinda tempting.
