I had my amp covers custom made by MDB, specifically providing for bottom coverage to protect from just that type of damage. So far so good! Although I must admit the bottoms are tough to get on...
Yeah, the bugees that come with those carts are more than worthless. Spend a couple of bucks at Home Depot, Lowes, Walmart or wherever and buy decent bugees.
