Back from hiatus with some new builds

No real progress to report as of yet. I'm still waiting on the finish on the fretless to cure. I'd rather wait longer than risk it not being fully cured and either become a sticky mess or continue to shrink back after being buffed out. The carving is still going on the fretted bass.

Now I come to TB Luthier's Corner for some input. I was going through some boxes from my move (I've moved twice since the last time I was building). I found this:

Not a bad find. It was going to be the fretless sibling to my fretted 8 I'd build previously. I really have no intention of building it up into a fretless 8 string at this point though. It is still usable as pretty much anything else. The wings are flamed koa front and back with a flamed maple accent and walnut core. The wings are 2.75" thick and hollowed out pretty extensively.

What do you think I should build up with it? I'd like to do something interesting. My thoughts so far based on other parts I've got around waiting for a home are:

Tremolo 6 - I have a Kahler 7416 in black and black Sperzel tuners.

Fanned fret 6 - I have some Bart G67 pickups which are technically a 7 string pickup, but would be fairly appropriate angled on a fanned fret instrument.

I have a couple of preamps, so that's not a big deal (OBP-3 and Bart NTBT).

I'm mostly leaning toward a 6 string, since that's what I've predominantly played for about 8 years.

If you have any interesting ideas let me know. Pickups, fretted, fretless, piezos, etc. What would you do with it?
