It’s called Syngenor, the one I’m watching... a free movie on the flip-side of a B movie dvd.
Dammit, KBD. I was gonna post that.
Terrible film, although I do remember enjoying the book.

I tried reading the book but gave up several hundred pages in and the story barely got started. It's an awful, awful movie but I love it.
I remember suffering through Enemy Mine as a teen. Kept waiting for it to get good, and waiting, and waiting, and then it was over, and I was mad for having watched the entire thing.
Traditionally on New Years Eve we like to watch bad sci-if (except this year I'm in a band that actually has a gig!). One of our faves, from the Toho universe is known under various titles, such as Matango, Fungus of Horror.

I love low budget, B-movies! The best ones were done in the 60's, but I don't discriminate otherwise.

From a space geek stand point the entire Star Wars series drives me nuts. TIE fighters with the screaming... it's a vacuum. There is no sound. Just stop. . . Walter Koenig was in a movie that did it right; Moontrap. Decent movie, that. And not mentioned often
