Let me add mine to the thread. Alembic Europa 5 Bass.
Solid all flame maple body, neck through made from even more maple & purple heart.
Fretboard is all ebony. Solid brass bridge, tone block, tailpiece, nut with cover plates also from brass. Electronics are Alembic low impedance pickups, a low pass filter with 3 position q-switch for each pickup, then master volume, and pickup blend knob. The other switches are mute next to output jack and neck side LED's. Great bass for all styles of music. 12lbs and balances perfectly no neck or body dive at all.That Europa is certainly beautiful, and no doubt sonically super-versatile that wood/electronic combo. But with all that Maple . . . what's she weigh?
