Early in prototyping I decided to do a matte finish on this pedal and it looks great! I'm stoked about how this one is coming along.

Exactly what I was hoping for! At the end of the day how a pedal sounds is what matters, but I really love when pedals also have a good design vibe and reflects the personality of the builder.

Ry and Shannon of course. Brian's work at Smallsound/Bigsound always strikes me as innovative and I think Matt at Wren & Cuff reads my freakin' mind.

I could make something generic sounding and put it in a plain colored box, but oh wait... MXR already has that covered.

It is a sound demo like that makes a man want to order the pedal. You really managed to nail that moar-than-clean-but-not-distorted-until-you-really-want-it-distorted sound.

That's definitely the idea with this one. I like overdrives that you can "play" with your playing dynamics. Just something to make them come alive like a tube amp when you dig in.
