BagEnd for Avatar

I may be biased, as it is my 2x12.

Remember, this cabinet comes with a guarantee that you will sound better playing through it than the previous owner.

I will be smallinating my rig whilst you are embiggening yours. Which sounds quite righteous to me.

Let me know.

I LOVE the bagend but I think the 212 will suit my needs better. I play rock, to metal, to funk all in one band so I need that pull....

Lee, im gonna be sad to see it go. Nice to see you on talk bass though :)

i LOVE my Avatar 2x12 and have it paired up with a matching 2x10 and couldn't be happier. i could easily get by w/ just the 2x12, but i've got them both, so what the heck? based on your sound, i would think that the more mid heavy 12's with the sizzle from the tweeter would probably be a good fit for you. there's my opinion.

as has been stated, they're worth about the same, so play and let your ears decide!

I've got the Avatar 212 and 112, and I think they're great. :)

I think 12's are a great size for bass speakers, especially if you're going to be running just one cab, because you can get great mids and highs without losing the bottom. The 112 is great for practice and with the neo speakers, it's super light. My 212 has the old speakers in it, so it's way heavier. They both handle my 1000w Carvin head just fine and the 112 doesn't have a problem with the low B at all!

Anyway.... +1 for 12" speakers!

/I wonder if there's a 12" club? :)

I totally agree with you about 12's. I had a Genz Benz 2x10XB and now I have a SB112 neo and the low end is so much better. The XB210 would drop off significantly below an A1. Not the case with the 112.
