Thole and Soto can drive from san luis, its not that far...

Hell, a few LA people could come up...

We need a date, a house that will host us... and enough people to justify it all.

If I were you people, I'd stay the hell out of that whole region for a month or two until after "the big one" hits. Take a look at the map. That line of earthquakes ain't done marching yet, and it's been 147 years since the Great Fort Tejon (M7.8 - 8.3) earthquake (which, by the way, was preceded by M5 and M6 foreshocks, exactly the same as Tuesday's quakes). You're overdue, folks. This is not to mention the M7.5 Arvin-Tehachapi earthquake of 1952 on the White Wolf fault, where a M5.0 happened yesterday. And don't forget about last December's San Simeon thingy.

As Lucy Jones of the U.S. Geological Survey has been known to say, "When you're having a lot of earthquakes, you tend to have a lot of earthquakes." Well, folks, we're having a lot of earthquakes. Wise up.

People here in bako make little jokes about people in Florida and how stupid it is to live in such a hurricane-prone place... and we make fun of people in tornado alley... and how they should move. cause their houses have wheels... and then they won't ahve to by a new winnebago every year...

And while everyone else is making fun of people in places like that...

But I actually think it would be better the meet up when NAMM season rolls around and there will be alot of non-residents coming in to the LA/Orange County area. Makes for a bigger get-together.
