I have posted City Boy in the past. I even have a few of their albums.![]()
They frequently get mentioned here in any thread where someone talks about Zappa.Captain Beefheart.

And I also own at least one City Boy vinyl LP. We're old.
City Boy guitarist Mike Slamer went on to play with other bands such as Streets and has done much studio work including guitar solos on the first two Warrant albums.![]()
Did not know that. I do believe that was a collection of some very talented cats who could and should have gone on to other things.
Yeah. They have a drummer, and a guitarist. They also have a guy dressed like a mummy in a trench coat, doing the robot, drinking a 40, puffing on a blunt, and holding signs...the entire show.

I think it may be more a "peer-guided focus of aspiration" rather than age.
