Double Bass Barbetta 32C, any experience?

I have a line on a Barbetta Sona 32C for a great price, just wondering if anyone has any experience using these to amp an upright.

Never used one with an upright (or anything else for that matter) but I used to sell them for another retailer. They sounded good as keyboard amps, I'm told, but I never particularly liked to sell them, because they often came back with problems not long after we sold them; the cooling fans, among other things, tended to fail pretty regularly. That was 10 years ago, and YMMV, but that was my experience.

I used to borrow one 20 years ago from time to time to play small gigs, it sounded pretty good if you didn't get too loud. It's owner, a keyboards player was having to send it back for repairs quite often, and finally gave up on it. Couldn't trust it to work everytime. Sounded very good with keyboards, if it worked!

Yeah, I tried it out and it's not going to cut it. It's nice and transparent but it doesn't have enough juice to handle the volume my upright gigs require. I'm still saving for a Ten2, though a GB Shuttle 6 or 9 is starting to look good too. The thing I like about the Ten2 is I wouldn't need a splitter for doubling gigs, I like being able to pop the amp out for backlined cabs, and the onboard effects and notch filter. And, it's 800 watts, which should suffice for my volume needs.
