Barefaced ONE10 - can it compete with a good 1x12?

I have 2 One10 cabs again. While I find one not able to keep up with a loud rock band, 2 are a different story.
I had 2 Berg 112 NVX cabs and they were overkill. I had other lesser 12s and they farted and struggled.
The thing I enjoy about the One10 cabs is I am not able to make them fart out. Other 10s just flat blow out under similar stress.

My experience with single 10s and single 12s, I have to say no way. A good 10 driver against a cheap 12" one? Certainly. I'm sure I can build a cab with a good 10" Eminence driver that will outperform the cheapest 12" driver on Dayton Audio's website, but that's not practical.

Aguilar SL112 > Barefaced One10. And it’s not close. Not that the One10 isn’t an impressive little cabinet. I had both. Sold the One10 because they overlap, mostly, in size/convenience, I didn’t need both, and between the two there is one clear winner.

One10 sounds better than any 1x10 I have ever heard.

I prefer it over regular (mediocre) 1x12 cabs.

Still, my Bergantino CN112 is able to project more lows...

By reputation and credible reports the Barefaced One10 is very impressive. My guess is that it could easily sound better and louder than bargain-priced 112's or even a few name brand cabs. However, I don't think it would blow away something like my AudioKinesis C112T.

As an added thought, while the inherent voicing of the drivers is different, Barefaced makes single 10" and 12" loaded cabs, presumably for good reasons. I think it would be fair to assume that with most variables (including the skill of the designer and quality of manufacture) at the same level for both, a single 12" driver cab would likely sound "larger" than a 110. The "better sounding" call on a winner would be more personal preference IMO.

Has anyone any idea how to best position the One 10 in respect to the port?
If the handle is on the side and logo is vertical the port is on the bottom, which to me would restrict airflow and performance.
Any info on this?

I think a I usually prefer the sound of the cab in vertical position (port on the bottom)
