Barefaced ONE10 - can it compete with a good 1x12?

To elaborate, this was using an Aguilar TH350 through a GK neo 112 vs. the Barefaced ONE10 I still own. This is just from perception but I’m sure the actual tech behind it is more complicated than that.
The One10 is as loud and also as full sounding as the GK neo 112 from your experience?

So many variables to address this ...but.. IMHO..the
Fearless F112 which is a 3 way cab will out perform any single 10 cab on the planet. It’s really an amazing cabinet.

There’s a really nice ACME 110 listed here on Talkbass with its own travel case. They are great cabs.

FEARLESS (sic) cabs are not the DIY ones, so to copy one you'd need to reverse engineer it yourself. OTOH, the fEARful cab builds are well documented and not particularly hard to build at all, at least IME. But since you're now committed to something very different I guess it's all moot anyway, eh?
@Ralferator , you'll be in Germany which is hop away from Italy. Have you thought of a Markbass combo 112? I don't own one but man they are sweet for the cost. Don't let anyone trash them to you about the yellow color-- they really are pretty loud for a small light combo. It might fit in a large duffel bag too...
Ive owned both mesa subway 12 and Barefaced super twin 2x12. What I can tell you is that the mesa sounds more open and agressive in the hi end (even with tweeter of). The mesa also have some more built in low end girth. I found the barefaced cabinet really bad for my taste, too bland and flat and way too muffled in the hi end(i had the version without tweeter).
Now im playing my all time favorite cab: GRbass 1x12 cube which is supernice and ultra powerful for a 1x12
Btw I also owned a barefaced 2x10. It has about the same output as my GRbass 1x12 compared side by side with an 800w amp when pushed. This cabinet is voiced very differently however, as stated a big boost in the low mids and very vintage treble, sounded too closed for my taste. Sum: The barefaced TWO10s has about same output as a hi-end boutique 1x12, thats at least my experience when pushing the cabs I owned hard with a mesa d800

Hey - thanks for your idea - but in fact i allready have a Peavey Minimax 500 amp that i love. So i only need a speaker. Also i would not be able to fit the Markbass in my bag
Just to keep things in perspective, no-one really expects a single ten to keep up in a band situation with an acoustic drum set - although some say they have done this (no doubt with a drummer who has more self control than any with whom I have played 
). The Barefaced One 10 is, however, an exceptional ten and IMO the best I have played. That said, I keep the One 10 in my lounge for practice and gig a Four 10 and/or a Two 10. The baked in character of the Barefaced tens appeals to me and is the sound for which I have been searching for many years, plus as I age the light weight of the cabs is a huge bonus. They won't appeal to everyone, but I have yet to find a bad amp combination with this speaker and it really punches through at volume. Conversely, the more neutral and full range Big Baby 2 is quicker to show up amp differences, for example I prefer the Ampeg V4b with this cab over the Orange AD200 which is usually my favorite tube head.

I believe the 12 is an OEM Eminence built to Barefaced requirements. Either that or Eminence supplies parts.
I did compare the one10 to several cabinets.
The comparison on the barefaced website is between barefaced cabs, not those of other brands.
The one10 is a special little thing. What I loved most about it is how huge it sounds at lower volumes.
But in my experience, it is tuned for four string basses and does get to its limit rather fast when you turn up the bass knob and bring a low B into the game.
A four string with emphasis on the lower mids instead of the bass gets so loud, it's hard to believe.
But don't expect it to handle rock music with a drummer that plays with a bit of force.
When you go one cab up in terms of size, you'll get the Super Midget. I've done gigs with a six string, playing reggae tunes for an audience of 200 people with no PA support on that one. In my book, that's even more incredible. The weight goes up from 7kg to 9,5kg and the dimensions are quite a bit larger, but the Super Midget really handles everything you throw at it with the grace of a cabinet twice the size.

...while I found most claims on the barefaced website to be quite accurate, I've actually taken the claim of the one10 pushing as much air as a 115 to the test.
Where are Barefaced cabs sold in the USA? I’ve only seen “made to order” on the UK website.

in a literal sense, probably not, but the thing does sound much bigger than it is. It can handle and output a good amount of volume and low end for a small 1x10 cab. I’m happy with my ONE10 as a small gig/practice rig.
