Yeah. 110 is voiced much different.

I found a 210 comparable in output to a Super Compact, which would probably be pretty close a a BB2, depending on your perception of low and high extension differences.

The One10 and BB2 are different sounds.

I tried running my One10 with a Super Compact and gave up during the sound check. I preferred the sound of 2 Super Compacts.

Looks like I'm playing louder than some of you. I could run 2 One10's on a smaller gig but even then I'd probably use 2 SC's and just turn down because the headroom and fullness I get with both SC's is where my sound is these days.

The SC has inherently massive low end compared to the One10 IME/IMO. Totally different tonal universes.

I was thinking the same thing. Get a one10 and sell the second BB2, but pairing the two BB2's makes for some great thunder. It would be hard to part with the second one. A one10 looks really appealing when it comes hauling gear. Does the one10 sound like a smaller BB2, or does it have a totally different voicing?
As you stated money is a factor, and investing in Barefaced cabs is not an inexpensive endeavor, but worth it. I often wondered if Alex ever considered opening up a shop here across the pond to build his cabs and save us yanks the shipping costs.

I agree with chris_b and the rest that the One10 and BB2 are sonically different, each with its own voicing. 10 vs 12, tweet vs. no tweet, colored vs transparent, small box vs big box. I don't think a BB2 is a terribly large box or heavy at 29 pounds, but if you're looking to replace a BB2 with something smaller, I'd suggest a SM. The One10 is a great cab but not necessarily for trying to replace a BB2. I know 2 BB2's must really bring the thunder, my one certainly does that enough for me, pretty much-- although I could see how maybe 2 would be nice for outdoor especially if you do not have FOH. At the risk of giving the old "get what I have" or "do what I did" saw, I have to say, for me, modularity is the way to go. I really like having One10, SM, and BB2 for all kinds of gigs and situations - One10; SM; BB2; and BB2+SM for small, small-medium, medium-large, and large. Just one person's experience.

I am giving serious consideration to buying 2 One10's for a mini stack. My question is, which is the better placement for a deeper sound: vertical (port on the bottom facing downward into the ground) or Horizontal (port facing right side open to the world)?

Stumbled onto this thread while researching my Barefaced purchase...I'm way late to the discussion but I'm very curious to know if anyone's using a stack of 3 One 10s...

Yesterday evening, my One10 carried the room with a blues band (drums, 2 electric guitars and keyboard). The crowd was around 30 people. A bass player who attended the concert said the bass sounded great...
