(The first amendment has exactly nothing to do with private conversation on a commercial website. Take a civics course.)
I'm totally happy with all the Behringer gear I use and have used. They had a well-deserved rep a number of years ago, but have since made moves and changes to correct it. Regrettably, a lot of folks just keep on keepin' on with what they think they know, parrot old "facts" as current and relevant, and misinform other folks along the way.
I view Behringer and the the Music Group/Tribe pretty much as I view any other manufacturer. I call 'em like I see 'em. Behringer did deserve it's poor QC/customer service reputation many years ago IMO, but have cleaned up their act significantly over the last number of years. I don't necessarily think that it is ONLY about price point, though I'll admit that it's helped get my attention.
Case-in-point: I got one of the early version Mackie iPad mixers. Used it a ton, loved it, though it fell short on some of the I/O and processing features I prefer. Enter the XR series of mixers. The X Air XR18 has more I/O, and the channel strip/routing features are far more flexible than the Mackie DL1608. Certainly we could grapple over the details and preferences of each, but for me it was the feature set first, price second, that got me on board.
I think Behringer is a pretty innovative company in general. Their digital mixers literally set the mixing desk market on fire. That is remarkable and absolutely a feather in their cap.

I don't need a civics lesson or to be lectured about what gear is good or isn't. What you say isn't going to change my mind or get me to consider buying a Behringer / Music Group product. If you like it or it works for you, that's great but it isn't going to happen for me.
The First Amendment was established in 1791 protects my right to say what I want about any subject. There have been lots of Supreme Court cases about First Amendment rights and many of these are controversial. I said what I said with this in mind. End of story

Its funny how things get out of hand. I just ask what did you think of Baringer taking over TC Electronics, and that is all. Also my experience with a power amp we bought made by Baringer. I really did not bad mouth them I hope they did clean up their act.
I've got a couple of their pedals that work well for what i need. Also just got my first TC pedal which seems to be of very good quality.

Yes, they had some stinkers and had a reputation for plagiarism. I wouldn't touch their guitar amps (horrible sounding, IMO - but not any better/worse than what Fender/Line6 etc offers in that solid state/modelling guitar amp space).
BUT they did have a huge positive impact in the sound reinforcement game with the launch of their X series digital mixers. Helped that they bought Midas and were able to leverage their circuitry (preamps, specifically) in the X series product line (X32 etc).
Too bad they didn't buy Mackie's software engineers!!!

Well, @JRA 's first post right after your initial post pretty much covers it. The rest is fluff, including my response.
Clearly there's a whole lot of informed players here who think Behringer's parent company Music Group's takeover of tc electronic was neutral or even good, now that there's been several years of new ownership.
There were also a bunch of other posts that wanted to correct your spelling of Baringer.
well with Beheringer it's the quality of your Prayer that matters, you can keep them from doing that with serious Prayer but you have to Believe in it (like with Tinkerbell) (BUT sometimes you get a lemon Chevy built on a Tuesday).
If it weren't for their horrible horrible bypass I'd still be using the bass chorus and that vibrato pedal, Proven (see above) to be the best of class. The new Dimension by TC is OK but the juciest chorus they made was on the US600, Ultra Shifter Harmonist on detune. I keep one of them on a shelf just in case.

Meh. I use an iNuke 6000 4 channel power amp, and an iNuke 3000 2 channel power amp to drive monitors with my PA, and they've both worked flawlessly with very heavy use for the past couple years.
I had an X32 that we used for 3 years before upgrading to the Midas M32, along with the 32 channel S32 stage box for the X and now the DL32 for the Midas. All of it has worked flawlessly.
Still have an X18 Air mixer that I use for rehearsals. Works perfectly.
The recent TC gear I've owned or demo'd seems to still be very high quality stuff.
So yeah, I have zero issues with Behringer.
