Bass Advise

Hello all,
I currently have a Ibanez BTB 676, and I am looking for a bass that is "evil", and looks like a weapon. Thats right, a weapon! No I dont plan on hurting anyone lol....The company I deal with in Newfoundland Canada does not deal with all suppliers around the world. I am looking for something along the lines of a BC Rich WMD Widow bass, somoething that looks scary, fearful, and mean. The supplier here does not deal with BC Rich, they deal with hundreds of other companies except this brand name. Which is why I am here asking this question, does anyone know of a bass manufaturer (Except BC Rich) that makes crazy looking basses. I have a Coffin Case on the way and as well as a Dean Vendetta 4.0 5-String in Trans Black. Would love to have something freaky looking to play some metal with.

so im assuming youre looking for a 5-string or a 6-string. if you go with a 4-string youll have alot more choices cuz alos of basses i would suggest only come in 4-string. but i would suggest looking around at esp basses. the f series basses look like a traditional bass, but with a bunch of spikes and burrs around the edges. then theres the ax series basses, but theyre only available in 4-string. they look alot like the widow, but a little smoother. dean makes the razorback and razorback v, but both of those are only available in 4-string versions. then of course theres the bc rich basses. heres a link to the esp website

Yeah a weapon lol, something pointy and sweet looking...sometimes i just so aggravated with the drummer, and would like to shut him up sometimes...think it would do the job lol

Depending on what your budget it, you might also look into getting a custom made one from from one of our competent luthiers here, such as Lecompte or Valenti (there are more, but these ones came to mind). Go browse the Luthier's Corner and look for some names, send some PMs, maybe post a thread and see what you can find.
