Bass Amp Combo and Bass Amp Head

I need some clarifications on how to connect Bass Amp Head to Bass Amp.

This is my situation.

I plan to purchase Hartke KB12 500W and will purchase Bass Amp Head in the future too. Can you connect Bass Amp Head to Hartke KB12 500W?

This might be a silly question, but still want to know any honest opinion.

theoretically yes, it looks like you can unplug the built-in cab and plug it into something else, provided you don't power the combo. if it's that important, ask Hartke to be sure.

but it practice you likely won't need it. there's already an amplifier in the combo amplifier, why not just use it?
the built-in speaker is 4 ohms, so unlikely you'll use it as extension cab as well.

If you just want to hook up Bass Head to Speaker in combo and not use amp in cabinet; unplug speaker wire on back [coming from cabinet] buy a male 1/4" or speakon to female 1/4" Speaker cable[only use speaker cable no other important]

Plug speaker out of Head to cab speaker wire into female end.

If someone is asking can they use an amp head with a combo, it’s a little pedantic to give advice on how to do so by bypassing the built in amp. It serves no purpose but to confuse the issue. The plan to buy a combo, and later an amp to go with it makes no practical sense.
