Bass Big Muff Pi 2

I got mine yesterday, I try it with my amp less set up. It sound really good. I own the Russian reissue. To my ears sound more Mid heavy and more open that the Reissue. The blend adds clean but it don't go all clean. It's more present in the mix for sure. I can't wait for band practice to plug it to my amp.

I try it in practice and in a gig and I'm really happy. Great tone and lots of Bass. The bass boost I think is an overkill.

Has anyone tested the Bass Big Muff Deluxe and the Bass Big Muff Pi2? What were the impressions? I heard some cool sounds in the Pi2 demos, but I'm torn between the two.

I’ve got one of these on the way. Eager to how it does as I have some songs I can use it on. I like the blend knob vs just the switch on the original model.

I have the red guitar version so it will be fun to compare it against the green bass version when it finally ships. For whatever reason I had not thought to play bass through the red one yet so I did that last weekend. It is serious about the midrange, so here's hoping the bass edition is properly tweaked for our pleasure.

I've been using the new EHX bass pedal for about a month now. It essentially sounds the same as the red guitar version, just tailored for bass frequencies. I rather like the pedal. Be warned, it's very high gain. Nothing subtle here.

I generally always stage overdrives, distortions, and fuzzes in order from cleanest to dirtiest… but try it both ways and see how you like it!

Has anyone had trouble with the Pi2? Mine arrived, I tested it on two different amps and it activated the safety signal cutoff on both...the volume was below half.
