Bass Cases

Hi There, recently I finished building my fretless bass from scratch (ie. a litteral plank of wood). Its my own custom body shape (takes inspiration from a thunderbird and a p bass) but oddly it is over 120cm (its like 126/128 or something). And I'm looking to get a hard case for it so I can take it to gigs etc. However after research, its impossible to find any one that'll fit! Does anyone have any suggestions??? I live in the UK and have a budget of about £80 - I could push that but would rather not.

the only thing you've done wrong so far is to posit a scenario without pictures of the instrument! no pics = no bass = no scenario!

You could check out some keyboard cases in the 73 to 88 key range. This “Deep 76” version from Roadrunner is inexpensive and might work with some creative internal padding (even just towels and T shirts):
