Bass combo with built-in FX?

As long as Fender keeps it's Mustang line of digital modeling amps going they will keep their proprietary Fender Fuse software going and with software updates your Bronco will never become obsolete. One super neat thing is that all the tone controls are programmable so you can change the frequencies they adjust. When you change amp models the tone frequencies also change, so you do have to go into Fender Fuse to find out what they are if you want to know or if you want to change them.

All of the effects are also deeply tweakable via Fuse to your liking. This is especially critical for recording.

There is a quiet rumor afoot that Fender may introduce a larger more powerful gig focused Bronco at Winter NAMM 2017. Whether true or just wishful thinking, we'll find out in 23 days.

if tiny is what you're looking for, that's the roland micro cube bass rx. maybe you could find a floor model or do an in-store trade-in. or if you have decent credit, get a sweetwater or sam ash card and pay it off over 3 years with no interest. i think that's on offer for two more days.
