Great thread! I haven't laughed so hard in a lonnng time! I love the idea. I think I might do the same thing one day except leave the bass looking trashed with upgraded parts.

Be sure to round off at least one pointy edge and POP rivet flashing on it so it looks like boiler plate or an aircraft skin. If it got painted with "flying tiger " jaws that wouldn't be bad either.....

If it's still in one piece I think he should ship it to NJ via parcel post and we'll ship it back the same way. No case, just a label and stamps on the body. I'm sure the post office would do a nice relic job.
