Great thread! I haven't laughed so hard in a lonnng time! I love the idea. I think I might do the same thing one day except leave the bass looking trashed with upgraded parts.
Can't wait to see the next set of pics.
 
If it's still in one piece I think he should ship it to NJ via parcel post and we'll ship it back the same way. No case, just a label and stamps on the body. I'm sure the post office would do a nice relic job.
