Bass Electronics Setups

I'm trying to come up with some new possibilities for bass electronics configurations. I am unsure if these are even possible, but this is what I've thought of so far:

1.) -single output jack, concentric stacked knobs (master volume/tone), and a three-way mini on/on/on pickup selector switch

2.)-single output jack, concentric stacked speed knobs (master volume/tone), and a three-way on/on/on rocker pickup selector switch


Are these feasible setups, why or why not?

Number 1 is possible

Not sure about the concentric speed knobs if they are available or not. Seymour Duncan has wiring diagrams. Let me know if you need help finding what you need and I am sure others will be able to offer advise also

It is more about finding weird parts than wiring. You might be able to find strange pieces on the websites of the actual electronics manufacturers.

I know of two or three places:

Vishay - manufacturer of discrete semiconductors and passive components (mainlys caps, I think)
Invalid Link Removed
Futurlec, The Electronic Components and Semiconductor Superstore

I think there was another I found, but I can't remember what it way. I was mainly looking for sliding pots, since those seem to make more sense to me.

I live within 45 minutes of and have used and been there several times. They are good, provide excellent shipping and customer service. Told my supervisers about them and they are now avid users
