Neither link worked for me, but Ibanez is looked on pretty favorably for their starter instruments. Squier, Yamaha, and SX (through rondomusic.com) are all pretty well-liked here for entry level basses. For amps, it really depends on what your goals and budget are.
Ibanez for your choice of these adds, but look into rondomusic.com as suggested SX basses are liked by many on TB me included good luck RTS
I'd take the Ibanez PJ without a second thought. Like someone else said: I never heard of that other brand either. Ibanez is quality stuff.
I've heard of Crafter, but Ibanez still gets my vote. Whichever one you choose, get it professionally set up though, it'll save you a lot of pain and disappointment in the long run.
I've played Crafter "instruments." They are awful meat grinders, give them a wide berth. The Ibanez and a setup will be one million times better.
Get the ibanez and then take the bass in to a local shop for a "setup" and some new strings. A Setup is a tech adjusting the neck and bridge so your string sits low, the neck is straight and the intonation is set correctly. Enjoy the new Ibanez!

I recommend an Ibanez SR300 ($250-$300) and the Ampeg BA115 ($350).
You may be looking at less expensive used gear, but remember... you are purchasing used gear! Some used gear can be great but more often you purchase equipment that has issues or has been abused, or past it's useful life expectancy.
For $600, you are getting a quality beginner bass and a great sounding amp with 100 watts and a 15" speaker. (Basses love 15" speakers)
The amp is great for small gigs and goofing around in the garage. And, you can upgrade your bass when you progress to the next level and keep the amp.
I play a MIA Fender Jazz with the Ampeg BA115 and it sounds awesome!

That is a very playable bass, with a good setup.
Now there's another very important element:
You will have to PRACTICE quite a bit.

Definitely the Ibanez. They aren't all that bad as starter basses. The amp looks decent enough to start out. The P + J configuration is nice. (I just got a Fender P+J and I love it) I wish you luck!
If it's only a workable choice between the Ibanez and the "Crafter", go for the Ibby. That Crafter looks like a severe ghetto knock-off of a MM Stingray. By the same token, patience and persistence-like-a-dog-with-two-dicks helps. It took me almost 4 months to find a good used bass after a dozen years away from playing.
