Bass is too quiet for recording through interface to pc, please help ;c

yeah, it seems he's tried that - just gets lots of floor/device noise and little signal. I've used that interface and they behave way better than what he's experiencing.
That's all interfaces with low gain mic preamps. You crank them up and you hear self-noise from the unit. Oftentimes you can do what I suggested which is to gain up as far as possible without audible noise, record, bring up the level in post and call it good. It's not ideal but it works when using entry level gear.

That's confusing. What instrument did you pluck in the first few seconds of the video? Your Les Paul? Did you use the same cable for the bass as whatever you played in the first few seconds?

It's not really possible to have an incompatibility between guitar and interface. It's just an electrical signal no matter what pickups or guitar you use. There CAN be an incompatibility between signal LEVELS between devices - LINE level, MIC level and INSTRUMENT level. All electric guitars/basses output at INSTRUMENT level and most interfaces - yours included - have the ability to input INSTRUMENT LEVEL (as well LINE and MIC level). But I don't think that's the issue here either.

Fact that the interface isn't registering a signal on the bass, I'm narrowing down that the problem is something between the pickups and end of the bass cable (the end you plug into your interface). Could be a bunch of things.

I come back to the battery - is it a fresh battery and is it installed correctly? If you're not using the same cable for the instrument in the first few seconds of the video, do you know if the cable you used on the bass is good? If neither of those seems to be the culprit, you're into the electronics in the guitar - wiring, components from pickup through controls to output jack.

Did you buy this bass new or used?

The first one was the ''Epiphone Les Paul Standard'' to be exact, yes.

Do you mean the little wheels? The knobs? the pots? or whatever its called. Ye, in the 2nd video you can see me having it on max, then turned down to the middle.

I think I heard a difference slightly. Its just very very subtle because the whole thing is so quiet.
Yes, the knobs and the switch. Your bass has a volume knob, a blend knob, an active/passive switch and a 3-band EQ. Your volume should be all the way up, your blend should be where you want it for taste (neck vs bridge) and your EQ should either be flat or with modest amounts of boost/cut as a starting point. The active/passive switch should be in active position if you have a fresh battery in it.
 
Looking at this video, my control knob theory (aka "pilot error") seems to be supported.

You've got the balance knob turned to the bridge pickup (silences the neck pickup) and your 5-position switch is selected for the neck pickup (silences the bridge pickup).

That's the traditional behavior for switches on strats, isn't it? Interesting theory, but I don't think that's how this switch works.

You're correct - same as a Strat.

Edit - just read the link - I see what you're saying...disregard! It's not a pickup selector switch, it's a "Performance EQ" switch. Weird feature.

Edit 2 - just read the pamphlet closer - it DOES appear to be a pickup selector switch confusingly labeled as an "EQ" switch. Very odd. Check out the graphic on p. 12 of that manual.

"Slap" tone basically equals switching to the neck pickup with some sort of baked-in EQ. I'm chasing my assessment from "weird feature" to "goofy feature".

My advice stands.

Oh, maybe you just need to raise the pickups and/or lower the action?

(Edit: but I don't even know how far away the pickups would have to be for you to get *zero* sound, and if it's possible, who on earth would ship a new bass that way? I'm sticking with "something's broken, call in an expert"....)

Those two controls set that way defeat the signal going out of the bass. The fact that you get a *little* signal through is a function of the crosstalk in the bass's circuitry.

@Rocky049, like I said above - switch both the balance control and the 5-way switch to their middle positions, volume on 100%, hit a note and let us know how it turns out.

Quoting myself here. I was looking at the wrong TRBX model. The contorls are different than I described here.

But a DI box only decreases a signal thats too high..
It doesnt increase the signal
No, it converts a high impedance signal to a low impedance one. It has nothing to do with level per se. Your Forcusrite has a DI in its front end to do this conversion. Adding one externally won't help a level issue.

So you're telling me a DI box could fix this?!? 0.0 !!!!
