Bass Meme War! Go!!

St. Peter was checking in three recently departed souls.
"What did you do on Earth?" he asked the first one.
"I was a surgeon; I helped the lame to walk."
"Go right in through the Pearly Gates," said St. Peter.
"What did you do on Earth?" he asked the second one.
"I was a teacher; I taught the blind to see."
"Go right in through the Pearly Gates," said St. Peter.
"And what did you do on Earth?" he asked the third one.
"I was a bass player; I brought joy and music into the world."
"Ah yes, please take the freight elevator to the third floor and load in through the kitchen."

"I'm sorry I can't make practice on Monday," said Johnny the bass player. "But I make 8 practices out of 10!"
"Johnny," said Susie the keyboard player. "If all five band members have an 80% chance of making practice on a given Monday, what is the percentage chance that the whole band will get together on that Monday."
"80%!" said Johnny.
"No Johnny. It's about 32%. Allowing a successful practice about every third Monday."
Later that day Susie was fired.

... and short-scale basses are marketed for women and children.

That is over the top. But I am seriously considering mounting one transistor on my P bass just to see what people say. I disable the tone knob. Putting a transistor in its place might be cool.
What might be really cool (and useful) would be a multi-segment display for each volume and tone knob position. Volume 11 and Tone 0 for maximum thud?

Wasn't that made by someone on this board? I forget the name/user handle, but there was an "aircraft carrier" themed bass they's made too. Thought I recalled seeing this as one of theirs as well.
Yep, paging @Doner Designs
